Check out Kalanit's CCN Keynote Lecture
Kalanit recently delivered a keynote lecture at the conference for Cognitive Computational Neuroscience titled "Understanding the functional neuroanatomy of the visual system using topographic deep neural networks and spatiotemporal receptive fields."
One recent line of work in the lab has been on developing topographic deep neural networks that accurately predict the organization of the visual cortex to provide a unified computational framework for understanding how cortical maps arise from spatial constraints and self-supervised learning.
