Jewelia's new preprint!

Check out Jewelia Yao’s new study examining pRF and category selectivity development in adolescent high-level visual cortex, available as a preprint on bioRxiv! For the first time in teens, we characterize functional fingerprints of category regions across three streams and show region-specific developmental trajectories. By adolescence, pRF location is mature, but spatial integration and selectivity continue to develop. We outline an extended timeline of visual development and provide a new, multidimensional framework for understanding the organization of the high-level visual cortex.
