Saloni Sharma

Saloni is a visiting postdoc from the lab of Margaret Livingstone at Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on the impact of early experience on the development of the macaque visual system. She completed her PhD from KU Leuven with Koen Nelissen, where she investigated the monkey mirror neuron system using fMRI. Saloni grew up in India and since then has lived in Ireland (Dublin), Belgium (Leuven), Cambridge (Massachusetts) and now in California. Her favorite ways of spending non-working hours are running, reading, Bollywood dancing or cooking.
